Scholarships for PhD studies

The Department of Computer Science has allocated some funding to support full time graduate studies. The scholarships can be given to registered doctoral students or graduated students starting the PhD studies. Preference is given to research in department main research subjects; software engineering, educational technology, and signal processing. The scholarship is 1150 e/month, and it will be granted for a limited time period, usually at most one year. The same person can, however, receive the scholarship more than once. In addition to studying, travel scholarships or scholarships for studying abroad can be applied.

1-2 scholarships will be reserved to joint doctoral studies with our IMPIT partner universities.

Free form applications including a CV, recommendation by the supervisor, PhD studies research plan, and plan for the scholarships period should be sent to department office by 15th April 2004. The selection will be made by the department board. Each recipient of the scholarship is responsible to report his/hers progress during the scholarship period.

The scholarship does not include social benefits. The scholarship is tax free. For more information, please contact the head of department.
