Evaluation of the course
1) If you have selected the problem-based way, the points are given
according to the following criteria:
Problem reports:
total 51 points
We had 11 obligatory problems, which give max 36 p. So, the sum of your
problem points is multiplied by 17/12. The extra problem can give you 3
extra points.
Exercises:
Total 60 points, gives 24 points (i.e. 2.5 exercise points gives one
additional point). (The poem automaton gave one extra point to the sum of
exercise points - so possible to get one really extra point!)
Learning diary:
Total 25 points
Evaluation criteria are following:
- regularity 4p
- more than 9 times gave 4 p
- 7-8 times gave 3 p
- 5-6 times 2 p
- 3-4 times 1 p
- evaluation of own learning process, learning goals 5p
- beginning analysis (background knowledge, motivation,
expectations) and final evaluation about learning process 3 points
(problem list could be part of this)
- setting learning goals and self-evaluation regularly give max 3 points
- reflecting/processing learnt 5p
- opinions, feelings, experimental part 3p
- overviews, containing concept map 6p
- overview about regular and context-free languages 3 points
- TM's and solvability 3 points
- could be in smaller parts or one great overview in the end
- also concept-map could replace text and give 1-2 points.
