HCG

A Hypercontextualized Game (HCG) is a locally designed game system, which helps is players to gain awareness of different subjects by using specific elements of its continuously changing context (Islas Sedano, 2012)

The concept and model of HCG is the result of over six years research work by designing and playing games that were anchor in different real life opportunities and seek to create a change. The work was done within the Educational Technology Research Group at University of Eastern Finland.
